Professional Mentor

Job Description

The primary duties of Mentors are in tutoring, assisting, and facilitating the success of Creative Accelerants in the Madelife Program. As all accelerator programs have individualized curriculums, this involves all aspects of preparing material, moderating the workflow, and critiquing work, as well as working with and delivering updates on these processes to the respective Creative Coordinator. For this, a particular knowledge base is required for a Mentor, and this depends on the professional mentors particular realm of expertise. Because madelife is a community-based cultural firm, it is also preferred that Mentors will have an attachment to the professional creative that they exist in within Boulder

Responsibilities:
• 1 on 1 instruction.
• Development of student projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Experience in the creative professional field.
• An exciting Portfolio.
• Experience and excitement for teaching
• The ability to work with accelerants ranging from beginner to experienced.
• The ability to work on a team and participate in weekly meetings.

Additional information

Hours:
2-5 Hours/Week, with opportunity for more work. This is a part-time, contractor position. Hours are scheduled between 10am and 5pm.
